About Free Downloads Directory
Free Downloads Directory helps you find sites that provide free downloads on the internet. But for us, that's not enough. Our goal is to list only quality free-content sites. All sites listed on Free Downloads Directory should meet the following criteria:
- Must provide downloadable content, a substantial portion of which is completely free.
- Both the number and quality of the resources on the site must be substantial.
- Downloaded content must not install other software, either without the user's knowledge or by default if the user fails to opt out.
- If an account is required to access the free content, creating that account must not require the user to enter personal information beyond basic information such as an email address or time-zone information. Note that listings that require an account will be flagged as such for the benefit of our users.
